Buying goods on your doorstep - Is it safe?

A shoplifter who stole a large quantity of branded meat along with bottles of alcohol, is in the cells this evening. He was searched on arrest and the goods taken from him but during this search, a quantity of uncapped needles were found alongside the goods including some that had clear evidence of blood in the chambers.

These goods were intended for sale to people on their doorsteps and this man is a prolific thief. I think we have to wonder about the safety of those who buy packs of meat that have been in a pocket with uncapped needles.
